What is a linear outdoor kitchen, and is it the right layout for my space?
A linear kitchen runs on a single straight island, with the grill positioned centrally and counter space, storage, and utilities on either side. It is the most space-efficient layout in the Range lineup and works well for narrower patios, deck spaces, or homeowners who want a clean, streamlined outdoor cooking station without a corner configuration. If your space has more depth than width, or if you simply want a focused grilling setup without the complexity of an L-shape or galley, the Lancaster Linear is a strong fit.
The Lancaster Linear does not include a pizza oven. Is there a version that does?
The Lancaster Linear is built around a single professional-grade grill and is designed for homeowners who want a focused, streamlined outdoor kitchen. If you want a pizza oven included, the Lancaster L-Shape offers the same $11,999 price point with both a grill and 32-inch pizza oven in a corner configuration. The Lancaster Galley and Langston both include a grill and pizza oven at $14,999 with additional counter space and coverage.
What fuel type does the Lancaster Linear use, and can I convert to natural gas?
The grill runs on propane out of the box. A free natural gas conversion kit is included with your kitchen. The grill supports either fuel type, so you can connect to whichever setup works best for your space.
Can I assemble the Lancaster Linear myself, or do I need a contractor?
The Lancaster Linear is designed to be assembled without a contractor. Every component arrives pre-fabricated, pre-drilled, and powder-coated, and the BILT app provides 3D interactive instructions that walk you through the process step by step. Most customers complete assembly with a helper over a weekend. If you prefer professional installation, the pre-engineered system is equally straightforward for a contractor to work with.
How does the Lancaster Linear ship, and what should I expect on delivery day?
The Lancaster Linear ships in 10 boxes via our own freight carrier, with delivery scheduled by appointment. Freight delivery includes a liftgate service to bring boxes to ground level. We recommend completing a full inventory check against the packing list before beginning assembly. If anything is missing or damaged in transit, our customer service team is available seven days a week at 833-689-8428.
